My Ceramics Practice
I create functional ceramic vessels primarily using hand-building techniques.
I like exploring new ways of making learned in classes and workshops and from the oceans of YouTube and Instagram.
I'm drawn to contrasts between precision and spontaneity and between sharpness and softness in creating forms and textures.
I see my work as in dialogue with other objects in the physical world and expressive of the process of making and the possibilites of the material.
